2 sets of complementary colors are used here. Red (or Pink) against Green, and Yellow (warm / almost orange) against small dots of purple. This painting of a yellow tulip attempts to paint an almost surreal flower. If one wants Realism, take a Photograph, painting allows the statement of an emotion. In this painting, the attempt is through the use of colors.
